Land Art
In Primary 4 we have been learning about different kinds of nature sculptures. We looked at the work of many environmental artists and were inspired by the work of Andy Goldsworthy to create our very own land art. We collected a range of natural materials and designed our very own land art masterpieces. We created a house, clock and trees using our natural materials.
Keeping Fit
In P4 we know that to be happy and healthy we need to move our bodies. Article 31 teaches us that we have the right to play and have fun. We look forward to our P.E. lessons inside and outside to learn new skills, exercise and have fun. Have a look at some of the skills and games we are learning this year.
The Snowman Story
In Primary 4 we have been learning about The Snowman story. We watched the film, and in Art we created our very own snowmen using clay, aren't they just lovely!
Numeracy Learning
In Primary 4 we love sharing our ideas and learning from the ideas of others.
We enjoy practical activities in our lessons and enjoy a good numeracy movement break too! Have a look at our great numeracy learning.

‘Where I live’.
In class, we have been looking at Portadown and the local area. One of the businesses from our community that we have focusing on is Irwin’s Bread. We had a delicious Numeracy lesson, where we tasted different types of Irwin’s bread and then voted which was our favourite. When we collected our data, we found out that muffin was a firm favourite in P4AM, and we were able to show this through our graphs that we created.
